Rhett Abbott is a quiet, introverted guy, and is the youngest son in a family with a very domineering father figure. He is also a rancher, a bullrider, a cowboy — and also a drunk, irresponsible, unreliable, and a murderer, depending on who you ask. Basically, outside of family he's unlikely to fully relax about it.

SHIPPING/SMUT
Rhett's a tough nut to crack, but I'm open to shipping anything if the chemistry is there! (His entire modus operandi in the show is how he wants to leave his home and job and family and everything behind to run away with the girl he loved in high school, so when his heart is in it, it's in it.) I'm open to kink and smut and he is a (relatively) vanilla 28 year old who has never been in a serious relationship before, but he has had a lot of one night stands from the rodeo crowd.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE
RHETT ABBOTT GETS INTO A LOT OF FIGHTS. Like, physically. Also, he took the rap for his brother on a murder charge. He can throw a punch but he's much better at taking it. All that said: he is a normie. (Kind of. I'll explain below.)

MINDREADING/MAGIC/ETC
Rhett's canon is a weird sci-fi/western mash-up, and in canon there are things like time travel and... maybe magic (????) that are shown but never fully clarified (sometimes a huge hole shows up in your backyard and if you eat the dirt from it you get psychic visions). I like experimenting with that open-ended angle, but I usually play it straight even in memes, unless it's a full AU. Tl;dr: Go ahead, I fuck heavy with AUs and magical realism!

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS
Josh Brolin gets naked and falls into an enormous hole in the ground. Oh, also: time travelling cults. And Rhett is accused of murder! Seriously, that's what this show is about.
